FAQ:  Why did MCT (aka Mansfield Community Theatre) change its name to Mainstage Classic Theatre?

Answer:  The Board of Directors wanted a name that more accurately reflected our audience, our
performance venues and the quality of our productions.  MCT (as it is most commonly called) entertains people from all over Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Kennedale, Midlothian, Waxahachie and, of course, Mansfield.  We also perform in other venues outside of Mansfield (namely Kennedale Performing Arts Center) and are open to exploring new venues that provide the space, acoustics and theatrical rigging that enable our singers, instrumentalists and actors to continue to bring the high quality, professional productions our patrons have come to enjoy at each MCT production.  Thanks to you, we’ve grown tremendously over the last few years and we wanted our name to reflect our ever expanding
company. 

But, you can still just call us MCT!
