Lane Heinsch

Lane Heinsch studied theatre starting at the age of 10. She became heavily involved in productions around her hometown of Nashville Tennessee. She went on to major in Theatre at Arizona State University.

While a student at ASU, she spent her summers in Maine Teaching theatre camp to elementary age campers. Theatre eventually led her to a film production degree.

For years, Lane worked as an esteemed casting producer in Los Angeles, before starting her own family, and moving to Texas. She is so excited to combine her love for kids and theatre and cannot wait to see you this summer.

Robin Burgin

Robin Burgin has a Master's degree in Eductaion from SWBTS, with emphasis in children and communication.  She is a board member of MCT and serves as Stage Manager for all productions. 

She has taught and performed puppetry in the area as well as directed the Puppet Ministry at WRBC since 2000.  The goal of puppetry is to communicate with the audience using the medium to tell a story and provide entertainment with script and music, to children and adults. 

Brandon Shreve

Brandon is currently pursuing a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre at Drake University, after having worked professionally in the DFW metroplex for 7 years. He has been choreographing for five years and participating in musical theatre dance for twice as long; studying the works of Bob Fosse, Jerome Robbins, and other iconic broadway choreographers. He has regional and professional credits such as Big Fish, The Sound of Music alongside Tony Award Winner Jarrod Emick, and Godspell at Casa Manana, as well as working with theatrical companies like WaterTower Theatre, the Fort Worth Opera, Plaza Theatre Company, Granbury Theatre Company, Artisan Center Theater, and, of course, MainStage Classic Theatre. He is a proud Equity Membership Candidate.  

Ashleigh Hood, Intermediate Drama and Theatre Dance

Ashleigh Hood is so excited to have the  opportunity to teach with MCT.  Ashleigh is a design student at the University of Texas at Arlington and has been doing theatre and dance for 15 years. Ashleigh has choreographed shows such as Sweeney Todd, Disney's The Little Mermaid, and most recently MCT's production of Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella Jr. 

Ashleigh is so blessed to be a part of the MCT family, and has worked with them for four years now. She has been a principal dancer in productions such as West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Oklahoma. Most recently she played the role of Ethel in The Music Man. Ashleigh is honored to be able to share her knowledge and love of theatre with all her students.

Kelly Strange, Acting on Stage

Kelly is an elementary teacher in the MISD school district.  She is a former drama student who has studied under Marty Frederick through High School and College. She has peformed in many productions inclduing one of her favorite roles as Dororthy in the Wizard of Oz at the Scott theatre. She has two small children and is excited about getting back to theatre as one of our teachers.  She is looking forward to helping students develop a love for the art of theatrical performance as much as she does!




Ali Wimberly, Fun with Drama

Ali is a professional teacher, currently teaching at the FUMC Preschool and has theatre expereience.  Loves the little ones!
